Worthington Hockey Association

February 1, 2010

Members Present:  Greg Clark, Wes Scholtes, Cliff Shreiner, Mike Fogelman, Lynette Thompson, Coleen Bui and Jodi Schroeder.

Minutes:  From January 11, 2010.

Reviewed and no changes.

Motion:  Coleen to accept the minutes.

Finances:

Pull Tabs:  Need approval for Behrens signs for the sign made for Hickory Lodge.  $80.74

Need to send check for $100 to the booster Club for the use of the grill at the tail gate parties

Arena Operations:

Ref – unhappy about doors not being cleaned out of the snow in the back.

Varsity Boy’s locker room was a disaster.  Trap and Karelis took care of this and they are not allowed to keep their stuff at the arena anymore.

Mike is done at the end of the season.  Feels the association is all politics.  Unsure if kids will come back also.

Coleen is recruiting older people that have been part of the Association in the past to join the board.

Bantam/Varsity.  Received letter from concerned parents of next years players.  Want to go back to Bantam and Varsity levels.

*Need to give more information.

*Need to have Association Meeting

*Need to get the school involved.

Banquet:  Need deposit money and Certificate of Insurance sent to the Memorial Auditorium.

Matt Smith:  Many Years in the Association.  Memorial Plague or case.  Ask Johnson Builders to assist or Tom Ahlberg.

Next Meeting:  February 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the arena.
