The ACE Coordinator serves as the link between USA Hockey's Coaching
Education Program and our association. The coordinator also acts to
help coaches achieve and maintain certification and to coordinate the
coaching efforts of all coaches throughout the association at all
levels. The coordinator will also keep coaches and parents updated on
rules and policy changes both from USA Hockey and the association. The
coordinator will also provide and distribute coaching aids and schedule
workshops and/or clinics for the coaches and members of the
association.
Applicants should have a strong background in coaching youth hockey, and
should possess good communication skills and a desire to work with
coaches and players at all levels.
Upon selection by the Board of Directors at the February 5th meeting,
the new ACE Coordinator will be expected to fill the position
immediately.
